Yes. The Ola camera was designed for easy installation. It can be installed both indoors and outdoors. The mount can be magnetically attached to a metal surface or installed using the provided screws. You will need to ensure Wi-Fi coverage and an electrical outlet within distance of 9.5 ft. /2.8M. In outdoor installation, the electrical outlet should have weatherproof casing/cabinet, as the adapter itself is not weatherproof.
For fixed wall mount option, you will need a drill suitable for drilling holes for the screws. All other options do not require any additional tools.
Yes. Ola camera and its wall mount have an IP66 weatherproof rating. The camera can be installed outdoors and withstand heavy rain, wind, and snow. The provided power adapter is not weatherproof. This means that if you want to use an outdoor outlet, the adapter should be placed in a weatherproof casing/cabinet. Use the Ola camera only in temperatures between -40 °F to 122 °F (-40 ℃ to 50 ℃). Moon and Mars expeditions will require dedicated power outlets; please approach us for such a dedicated solution.
The provided cable is approximately 10 feet (3 meters) long. Therefore, it is recommended to place your Ola camera within 9.5 feet (2.8 m) of an electric outlet. To extend the range, you may use an extension cord (from the Ola adapter to the outlet). If you are plugging the power supply into an outdoor outlet (or to an extension cord), you will need to install a weatherproof casing/cabinet, as the adapter itself is not weatherproof.
Ola comes with a power supply that is compatible with any 100-240V electrical outlet.

The unique AI system of the Ola camera learns the rhythm of your life and people’s routines, therefore suggesting searches based on this and the searches you have already done.
Ola is using body movements and other behavioral features to identify people for its internal analysis, in addition to face recognition. E.g. an older adult falling should require the system to be more sensitive than a young child who jumps, falls and gets up. Any such recognition is solely targeted to provide better safety and security while using Ola, and is not targeted to infringe privacy in any way. Hence, most of the recognition features are internal for domestic utilization, having the selected profiles being “shown” under >> settings>> people. The user has the option to link profiles generated by face and body movements to create recognition.
See the explanation above.
